This was some of the festivities before the Marathon. This is kids day at the park. Connor loved it even though he really didn't want to play any games. He still had allot of fun watching all the kids...Going Fishing..

Marathon!!

So last weekend was the Canoe Marathon. We all had soooo much fun. After the craft show and parade we headed down to the canoe livery to watch the canoe's start the race. Connor and Russell played with aunt Diane, which i think Connor and Di had a connection. Anywho after that we followed the race with Connor for two stops he loved it. He kept on saying "MoMMa look at the boats" to which i replied "Canoes"..We stayed up till Midnight watching them, which if anybody know me i never let Connor stay up past his bedtime. We had a wonderful weekend. I will attach some pics later today..:-) Are ya happy Kerry..:-)

Excited...

I just wanted to write how excited i am. I was chillin watching the boob tube that's what my dad always called it. I saw that the movie 300 will be out Tuesday. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy i have been waiting for it is seems like FOREVER. For those who have not seen it it is really good i mean REALLY good. So go out and buy it....:-)

Potty

I am sorry to everyone who reads this and thinks seriously why is she writing about potty training, but those who are parents should understand the struggles with it. So i am pleased to announce my little man is going on the potty all the time now. Yesterday he did not have one accident, and today has been the same. I am so excited to be on the right track with him and the potty. I bought some diapers about 2 weeks ago and i still have them i am really happy about that. I REALLY hate changing diapers..So hopefully he will have it down really good by the end of this month.Wishful thinking right..:-)

Fun Day part II

So the fun day turned out to be really not that fun at all.. So we go to meat Steph at work and as we are waiting all of a sudden i hear my son screaming. I drop everything and ran to him only to see him sitting on the floor grabbing his hand. Russell accidentally shut his finger in the door. After we all relaxed it was off to the Alpine Frest. I bought Connor an all day pass which is a hand bracelet, do you think my son was ok with wearing It Oh No not my little stubborn son. He started caring on like he just got branded. After a little bit of screaming we finally got it on his ankle. The we were off the boys wanted to ride a cool little motorcycle ride. I got Russel lock and loaded and put Connor in and as soon as i buckled him in the tears started flowing again. So i got him down and we watched Russell ride it. I went to go take a picture of Russell only to find my camera wasn't in it's case. I look down and it was on the edge of the ride i though SUPER!!!!! Then this nice man reached in and got it for me...Is that it you thought oh no it's not. Connor wanted to play this duck games. Do you think it was covered by the bracelet i bought NOPE i had to pay 5 bucks i thought ok we will get a Spongebob toy. The next thing i know my son is crying because he dosn't want it. So i decided i had enough it was time to go. The minute we started walking away Connor then wanted Spongebob...So my fun filled day was awesome...I'm glad i spent about 25 dollars to do nothing.. Do i sound bitter ya i am a little bitter not at my 2 year old he is entillted, but i should have stopped at the finger smashing and called it a day...

Fun Day....

So i am SUPER excited today is going to be a Fun filled day. We are taking the boys to Alpine Fest. Hopefully no one has a breakdown. Ya know how it is with family outings someone is going to break...Anywho we all went to a local diner for donuts to start our day of FUN. It was awesome Connor was covered from head to toe with his chocolate donut. Russell was spilling chocolate milk all over, we had allot of fun..:-) Now they are running around like CRAZY wild animals from the sugar RUSH...It's awesome...So it's going to be a CRAZY day i can feel it..Wish me LUCK....Oh yeah on the potty training it is going soooo good he had only one accident yesterday...YEAH!!!!!!!!

Potty Training...

So today has been wonderful in the potty training. This weekend was a little crazy, because we went downstate then he staid the night at grandparents house. He has had no accidents he has went on the potty like four times today. Finally for the first time after he went pee he said i went pee mommy and he started clapping his hands. I am so excited today has went so well. It definitely has giving the courage i needed to stick with it. I know it's just potty training, but it has been a real challenge to keep my little one on the potty without crying..So yeah....I am so excited....

Long Weekend..

So after going on a date with the hubby Thursday. We went to see Transformers which was awesome by the way. Friday we went to see our friends play. Saturday we woke up and went downstate which is 6 hrs for a 3hr reunion. Then went out later that night to see our friend play. Which was awesome they are soooo talented. When i say play i mean music.. Anywho what i am getting at is i am WAY to old for that. I feel like i got hit by a train then dragged by a horse for at least 5 miles. So i am looking for a nice relaxing week.. Me, Russell and Connor are just going to sit back and RELAX....:-) Until this weekend it's Kerry's B-day Party....WooHoo.. As Patrick would say " I'm going to party till I'm purple..."

Potty Training..

So i have been hard core potty training. Connor is about to kill me i think. He hates it sooooooo much that he will go all day without going, and then the minute i put a pull up or diaper on he goes. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas. NO matter what he is going to be potty trained by the end of this month. Ok, maybe in the next six months the rate we are going. So this is my gaol. I am going to try my darnedest to get the little bugger out of diapers...

Chubby Butt..

So today i hopped on the scale to find out i had lost 2 pounds...YEAH!!!!! Starving myself is starting to pay off...LoL...I have really been trying to eat healthier, which let me tell ya is a pain in the butt. My hubby being the sensitive person that he is gets home from work to heat up a couple of chili cheese dogs and eats them right in front of me....I think a little tear fell...I being the fatty ate a half of a turkey sandwich and a fruit smoothie...Yes, it was really good, but that chili dog looked wonderful...I fought temptation and won HURRAY!!!!! So kiss my chubby butt GOODBYE....I am seriously going to be a size 2 by the end of the month.....:-)

Work...

I just want to thank everyone who prayed for us and our job situation. Ryan has been placed started yesterday. He is working residental instead of commercial, which is nice for a change for him any way. So Thank You....:-)

Fat to be or not to be..So last night i was looking at pictures of all of us from lastyear. I know i have put on a couple pounds, but i didn't relize how much untill then. I look soooooooo different i can't even believe it. So after i cried into a tub of icecream...J/K...I wish...Anywho i decided it's time to start dieting like REALLY dieting. So i woke up had a bowl of mini wheat's then for lunch i had 1/2 a turkey sandwitch and a strawberry shake i made with all lowfat things. I am trying to get in shape, right now i can run almost 3 miles you would think that i should be a size zero by now, BUT oh no not me the more i run the chubbier i get. So the reason why I am writing this if ANYONE and I mean ANYONE sees mr tyring to eat anything that is bad for me just slap me. I am serious you can just straight up "B@$^" slap me..I mean it....Whatever it takes....I am trying to get into a size Zero by the end of the month..LOL...Ok i would settle for a 2....So Steph we are going to sweat some of my chubbbbbbbbby butt off tonight...:-)

So for arts and crafts the boys painted my rocks to make them oh so cool. Russell painted a Transformer and Connor painted trees...Enjoy.....

Church

For those who don't know i just started attending a new church. I have only been there a couple of times and so far i have really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that Steph and i went Sunday night, and let me tell it has been awhile. So as we are sitting there talking, singing and have a gay old time. Pastor says look at the time i gotta get you guys out of here. Yes we were 15 min over. I can't believe it i didn't even notice. I enjoyed it so much that i didn't even look at the clock. So who knows my next step will be going on Wednesday. I am really glad i stepped out of my comfort zone and attended this church. TTFN

Who says you can't have your cake and eat it to.

So after allot of stressing about where we were going to spend the 4th i got it all figured out. We spent the 3rd with my family that were up from Ohio it was so nice to see them. Then on the 4th I packed my little moo moo and headed downstate to see my family that i haven't seen in FORever. It was so nice the Bible drills were so funny. I haven't done that since i was about 9 or so. I just watched, but i think that was the best part. We had wonderful food, Connor tried to eat all the cheezy poofs...Um Grosssss...Then he played football with my cousins, OK he just ran around like a wild banchie, but he was having fun. When we were getting to leave i cought my little sweetheart sticking rocks in the muffler of a couple cars. I am pretty sure i got them all out if not SORRY...:-) Then it was of to the redneck BBQ which if you check Steph's blog you will find out why. Which was AWESOME..Then we woke up and headed out to Manistee to see the fam from CT. It was really nice to see how are kids have grown. Em and Connor are only a couple of weeks apart, so it's nice to see them together. After some wonderful eating we were off again. This time we were home bound. So i just wanted to let everyone know it was a wonderful holiday. PS VanKleeck's i will be there next year, hopefully Connor will keep the rocks out of the exhaust...:-)....I will add some pics on my next post...

Laid Off...

So today has been a rough morning. Ryan has been laid off and had a hit and miss day of work last week. Financially we are struggling sooooo much. I am trying to be positive and give it up to the Lord, but today was breakdown day. I just couldn't handle it anymore. For those who know me I'm not a crier. I am a hold it in kinda girl, but not today the flood gates opened upped. It has been such a challenge to be in good spirits all the time. I mean really who can do that. So today i have been job searching. I am trying to find a midnight job. So i can still be at home with my son and watch my nephew during the day. I know the devil is trying to kick my butt right now and i am trying as hard as i can to keep it together. So i am in need of some prayers in that Ry gets placed soon, and that i can find a job that is going to work with my schedule. SO i have been reading my Bible looking for some verses to help me through my struggles and i came across Psalm 28:7 "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will i praise him."

Thankful..

So apart of being thankful for what i have i am going to be writing some things i am thankful for each day. I today am thankful for my in laws or i should say FAMILY. They are sooooo much fun, and so much apart of my family. I don't know what i would do without them. I have the best sisters, and Connor has wonderful grandparents, and great grandparents...I am soooooo blessed..Along with what i am thankful for i am going to be writing a verse down that has helped me with KNOWING that God will provide for our NEEDS whatever they may be....Psalm 37:5" Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Praise the Lord......

Party....

So we went to the 70'S party. It was sooooo much fun. I loved seeing everyone dressed up. Ry wore vintage Bill's 70's clothes. Let me tell he was a stud. I was a chubby Farrah. We danced our hearts out like it was well the 70"s (he he). It was awesome to see grandma with her fur coat on the dance floor swinging it around. We had a blast. We are old farts and had to hit the hay around midnight. Only to find out that people stayed up till 3 and 4 in the morning...WOW..I haven't stayed up that late in forever. So enjoy the pics...
