It's been a while

So, I know I have been horrible keeping up on this stinking blog...Life has been crazy. Preston my sweet little man is already 8 months old. I still can't believe it. I think it's even harder knowing that he is our last one. It makes me want to freeze time..Connor is at such a fun age. The kid is funny. He is really into music, and dancing to it. If he would let me video tape him we would so win AFV grand prize. Con went to his first soccer practice. Poor little bugger did not want to go. Then when he went decided not to participate at all. (sound like someone you know Evelyn). When we got home and Con prayed for his dinner that night he prayed that he wouldn't have to play soccer anymore..It's going to be a fun experience tomorrow.:-) He has his first game this weekend..It could be an exciting time. Oh well he will thanks me when he is older..RIGHT? Preston is rolling everywhere and getting up on his hands and knees but hasn't started crawling just yet. Today he did the military crawl..I am still nursing him. Which I'm thinking about stopping soon since next semester I really wont get a break to pump..He is not sleeping through the night. Still nursing two to three time a night which has been rough..It always seems like on school night for me he doesn't want to sleep at all..Little snot..Ryan and I let him have a sleep over at G-grandmas..Yes I know geezs he's 8 month cut the cord..It was really hard for me and Ryan. We woke up with no kids for the first time in a while and didn't know what to do..It was nice to have a date with the hubby, but I have no idea how parents can leave there kids all the time. I missed my little men soooooo much. This semester is almost over. I am starting to freak out about finals. Scared to death that I'm not going to pass..Waaaaaa..I can't wait till this semester is over. I get a little break before Summer semester begings, and I'm hoping we can go on a little vaca. We all need a little break...Well I have to get back to studying for my test tomorrow..Say a prayer for me...

Skiing

So, we took Connor skiing for the first time. He had a major meltdown getting his gear on and walking all the way the the bunny hill. But as soon as daddy and Connor starting going up the hill, he all of a sudden started getting excited. He went down between Ryan's legs and loved it. He wanted to go down by himself but I was not ready for that. He went down a quarter of the way all by himself, and then he went down holding Ry's hand. He did so good we are going to start going once a week. I am going to by him some headgear for next Friday. in case he does attempt t go down the bunny hill by himself. I am not a skier but I willing to give it a shot. I went down the bunny hill and this Friday I'm gonna attempt to g down the larger one. The little girl that I babysit for went as well and loved it too. So they will be going again next week. Hopefully there will be no broken bones. Connor is so excited and cant wait to go again. I hope before the season is over he will be able to go down the bunny hill without falling all by himself.

Relaxed

So, I have decided I need a break from time to time. Last-night I went with some girls to get a bite to eat. The kiddies stayed at home with daddy. I pretended I didn't have a lot of homework to do and two test to study for. I needed a break from schoolwork soooooo bad I am only in my second week and have found it to be very stressful. I feel like such a horrible mom because it seems that I'm either studying or doing homework. I REALLY needed a to get away from my books. It was just for two hours, but today I feel like a new woman. I have to stop writing though because I have get to get back to doing schoolwork:-) WooHoo

A&P

Ok, so i made it through my first dissection. Last Thursday, yes that would be only my second day of class, we had to dissect a little pig. I was so freaked out because I have never dissected anything before. I got myself all worked up thinking I was gonna puke as they wheeled in little Wilbur. I kept on telling myself that Wilbur was in piggy heaven and I just had to SUCK it up. Thanks goodness my partner is a LPN and had no problem dissecting anything, so that made me relax BIG TIME. She also supplied me with cough drops to cover up the smell. WoW did that help big time. After getting over the Shock. I found it very interesting. So, if ya ever need to slice open Wilbur and don't know who to call. Just give me a ring. :)

My Baby

So, for those who don't know Preston has been diagnosed with infintile esotropia. Hey just got glasses in hopes that it will help correct his eye's. The specialist he has been seeing is pretty sure he will have surgery by the age of two. I am praying that these glasses will correct it. He is soooooo stinkin cute with his glasses. Enjoy my little professor....

Now Here this

I've been using aluminum foil for years .Great stuff, but sometimes it can be a pain. You know when you are in the middle of doing something and you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time. You can never get the stupid thing back in the way it was. Well get ready for me to rock you aluminum using world. I watching Ellen Degenerous last week andshe opened my aluminum covered eyes. I don't know why this isn't a big part of the add when you see advertisements, but here is what Ellen showed. There are two tabs on the side of the boxes that when you punch them in they hold the foil in place. AMAZING!!!!!! This also goes for Suran wrap I feel like this is the greatest thing I have learned in LOOOOOOng time. So spread the word.. A special thanks to The Ellen Show.
