Kids..

So i have an issue here it goes..Today was library day which is a fun day for kids. I guess they have story time and arts and crafts. My neighbour which i absolutely love came over and said hurry up and get dressed lets go. I was mowing the lawn, i said i really had to get this done before we go downstate. Then she asked if she could take my nephew which i watch. I ask him and he was like "I'm a transformer" then he said yes. So they all left, and then i got to thinking am i a bad mom or aunt because i didn't take them. Then i said to myself you have a 2 year old that needs his nap, and believe you me he needs his nap. I also have a very active almost 5 year old nephew. So i would be taking a crabby 2 and a very active 4 tear old. Yeah not a good idea...I said to myself...So the moral of the story is i do allot with my nephew and son. It's ok if i stay home and cut the grass...I sometimes think people of older children forget what it's like to take a 2 year old out in public without his nap. So Steph forgive me that i did not take your son. I will try, but i'm not promising anything..And i believe i am an alright mom, and babysitter....:-)

Rough times...

So now that i am a stay at homer money is really tight...I mean so tight.. things are allot harder, but I know that this is where the Lord wants me to be is with my son and taking care of my hubby. I remember when i was little kid in church a missionary told us if we prayed about something for 6 months and still got the same answer that God is trying to tell you that is what you should be doing. So i have stuck with that. So that's what i did about staying at home. Ok so i prayed about it for a year, but i REALLY had to be sure. I know God will Provide for my family and he has, but lately things have been really hard. I have really been reading allot of Joyce Meyers books. Yes i know a little controversial, but she has reminded me that God will always be there for me in my time of need..Praise the LORD...Human nature is a really powerful thing, and every once in a while it rears it's ugly head. A little doubt comes in..She reminded me of a few verses...The one that really sticks Out to me is I Thessalonians 5:18 " In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." In EVERYTHING give thanks...I know that things will be hard and tough, and i know that the road ahead will bumpy, but praise the Lord i have a wonder son an amazing husband. I will do my best to give thanks for the things i have. Trust in God that he will provide for my family....remember to be thankful for all that i do have....For it is the will of GOD......Thank you God for my husband my healthy son my house my health my husbands health the food on my table the roof over my head...Praise the Lord i do have allot to be THANKFUL for...Who needs Money..:-)

Ketchup...

So after a long day of taking the boys to the park, Hartwick pines. I started making dinner for Connor and I. I made hamburgers, applesauce and french fries...Yes i know YUMMIE!!!!! We sat down together and said grace Connor likes to say AMEN! when i am done which is pretty cute. We started eating we had a great discussion about me having a spoon and him having a fork...Anywho...He started eating..Then all of a sudden he is like "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM momma MMMMMMMMM" i look up and he his filling his spoon full of ketchup and shovin it in...I said gross Connor, he smiled and shovled another spoon full.. I got to thinking am i a bad mom for letting him eat straight ketchup. Then i got to thinking it comes from a tomato so that's like a vegetable serving for dinner...Well that's my excuse anyway..:-)

Artist

So i am attempting to be misses green thumb and grow some flowers. I haven't killed any which is a big step for me. So for arts and crafts the boys made some stepping stones for my flowers. They had allot of fun. it also makes my flowers look allot better since some of them are on there last leg, but there still alive...

Beach Bum!

My son is an official beach bum. He loves making sand castles then smashing them( i think he might like smashing them more). Yesterday we were sitting around just relaxing, and here comes Connor with his beach shovel, and baskets saying beach momma beach please. Well really could you turn that down. I don't think so. So we packed it up and headed out. He is getting to where he will walk out up to his chest. He is such a brave little boy. Well enjoy the pics attached..

Ketis....

So i was freaked out today to find the screen to my window popped out and no Ketis. I am sure Kerry is happy to here this. Ketis is an inside cat has been declawed, and he is no more a man(hehe). So we found him (not really that hard he was right outside the house), but i think the taste of freedom is to much for him. He has been crying nonstop since he's been inside. So now i think we are really going to have to watch the little bugger every time the door opens. Bummer because things were going sooooo well he would not even try to get out. I think he might have a girlfriend he wants outside BAD....:-) I know the pic has nothing to do with Ketis, but i just wanted everyone to see Connor helping papa Bill..:-)

Beach

So i braved it alone with my son and nephew today. I packed them up and headed out to the beach. Russell is my sons idol. Connor tries to do everything that he does. Russell was a sea turtle, and Connor in his little voice was saying Sea Turtle mommy, and trying to copy Russell swimming like a turtle. Russell rolled around in the sand (steph i tried to get it out of his hair) sorry..it was soooo funny. we tried well i should say i tried to make a sand castle, Connor thought it was funny to smash it the moment i started. I have to say besides the selective hearing that they both have it went wonderful. No one drowned. Witch is always a plus...:-)...We ate our lunch at the beach...No potty accidents...All was Good...Thay are like peas and carotts...

Texas...

My brother called me this morning to ask if it would be possible to fly to Texas after my niece or nephew is born. My sister Jessica has to go back to school right away, and does not want to put the baby in a daycare. The whole event would be for about a month in Feb. He would pay for me and my son to fly down. The only thing is we would have to leave Ryan. It is also Connor's 3rd B-day in Feb. So i am looking for some advice, and some prayers on what to do. I would love to go an spend a month with my family. I only get to see them once a year if that. So send some advice people.....I think it would be a wonderful time for Connor to bond with his cousins....Ok...That all for now....

Hair Cut...

Sunday was a big step for me i mean A BIG step. Connor got his hair cut really for the first time. He looks like a little man, and no more like the little baby i brought home 2 years ago. I cried like a baby i wont lie, as each curl hit the ground...I know it is nice for him during the summer for the sake of being a little cooler, but as for a mommie i feel like i am letting go of the baby. I know it sound stupid, but i can't get over at how much older my little man looks. My husband even said he acted older....OK.. he is not reciting the 10 Commandments, but he does look older. Have i mentioned he looks older...Well enjoy tell me what you think...
