Texas

So today as Con and I go outside we are dressed in our shorts because the temperature is 80. It's so nice to be outside and actually feel hot from the sun. I am really enjoying my stay here. Connor had a lot of fun at the Monster Truck show. I will try to get some pics soon. My camera is broken, so I'm using Davids camera. It was a very devastating to have my camera crap out on me, but I'm trying to be positive and work with what I have. Mr brother and sister-in-law have totally spoiling us. I gotta say it's nice to be spoiled. I'm starting to feel the baby move only on the inside, but I'm sure it won't be long till I can feel it from the outside. I am 3 1/2 months along, and I can't believe that this second pregnancy is going so fast. Ryan and I have pretty much picked out two names, but are going to them to ourselves until the little one is born. I have been losing weight, and I'm afraid to weigh myself. I just know that God has this little baby protected, and I'm not tyring to stress out about the weight loss. I might try to weigh myself today or tomorrow. I have lost a total of 10 lbs since the beginning of the pregnancy, and think I've lost even more. I am starting to get a little pouch, but I think this baby is going to be like Con was, and I really wont start showing until about 5 to 6 months.

Connor is doing so well with the baby, and he runs to Eli when he starts crying to see if he's OK. I am just praying he is like this when little Schenk comes into our family. He still has a baby in his bell like his momma, and if I tickle his belly to hard he says"momma you hurt the baby". I have to give his belly a kiss, and tell the baby I'm sorry. It's so funny to see him mimic me and my pregnancy. Well gotta go baby need some lovin....

Feeling Good :-)

Finally, I am feeling like a normal human being. It has been a rough pregnancy so far, so it's nice to start feeling like myself. Jessica keeps telling me I'm not suppose to be doing a lot of things I've been doing but I can't help myself I don't know how to just kick back and relax. It has been a wonderful stay in Texas. I am enjoying the weather, and I'm glad I am missing the cold at home. Tonight we are going to a Monster Truck rally. I am so SUPER excited Connor loves watching Monster Trucks on t.v., so I can't wait till he can see them up close. I am hoping it's not too loud for him. My brother Dave got him some earmuffs so hopefully that will help, and hopefully he will wear them without a fuss. I'm ready for the weekend because Connor always to be around Audrea and he doesn't get that she has to go to school everyday. It will be nice for them to be able to hang out. I am busy trying to narrow on a baby name. It has been hard for Ryan and I to pick one especially since we don't want to find out what we are having, so we have to pick out a boy and a girl's name. I think we a finally narrowing it down. Wish us luck as we are picking names. I can't believe hoe fast this pregnancy is going for me baby Schenk will be here before we know it.

Today

So today it's 71 and we are enjoying it soooo much. Connor, Eli and myself are going to walk down to the park and play for awhile. Connor is loving playing outside, and it looks like we left Michigan just in time. I'm so not missing the snowy weather. We are planning on going to Dallas this weekend for Connor's B-day. We are going to the aquarium which Connor will love. I can't wait. He has been having a lot of fun playing with his cousins. Kaylee is just a year older than Con so they have gotten along really well. Baby Eli has been an absolute joy to watch. He is the sweetest babies, and he seems to always be content. It has been a wonderful vacation so far, and I'm looking forward to spending the next 4 1/2 weeks here in sunny Texas.

We Made IT...

After being worried for about 2 months, we finally have arrived in Texas. Connor did so good on the plane. He got a little certificate to show his first plane ride which was super nice. He didn't complain not one time. I had a couple next to me and in front of me amazed that this was his first plane ride because he did so good. He didn't have a problem with the pressure on his ears. I was really worried about that because he just got over an ear infection. He just relaxed and watched his movies. We arrived in 71 degree weather which is a nice change. I definitely welcomed the sunshine. David took the kids to the park to which Connor replied "The parks closed" I kept on telling him at home it was because of all the snow. He got there and was in shock that it was open. Too funny. He has loved being outside without being bundled up, and I have to say I rather enjoy it too. I know we are missing out on a lot of cold weather...Bummer...:-) j/k I love that we are missing it WooHoo... Well I will keep everyone posted, and hopefully I will be able to get some pics posted soon

Stressed!!!!!!!!!

I'm super nervous about this weekend. I can't believe I'm leaving for Texas for five weeks. Not really sure how well Con is going to do on the flight there, so I'm freaking out about that. I have two bags packed already. Yes I know I'm crazy I just like to be prepared. I am looking forward to the nice weather, and we will be able to go outside without being bundled up. That will be a very nice change, but poor Ry will be at home by himself. I am really stressed about leaving him for five weeks...WHAT WAS I THINKING..!!!!!! Well please pray for us because I'm close to having a mental breakdown.

Silly Moments

This is what happens when you let a grown man play with Play-Doh...

Christmas

I forgot to put Christmas pics up, so here is Con at Christmas with his favorite toy...( thanks g-ma and g-pa)

Before we were ill, we did have some fun in the snow. We had to be a little different with our snowman. He is a UNION snowman with all his safety gear on.

Connor making his first snow angle on the year.

Today...:-)

So, the sickness is almost over. After weeks of feeling nauseous, Connor and I had to go to the doctors because we had a sinus infection and ear infection. So needless to say it's been a while since we have felt good. The antibiotics are helping soooo much I am starting to feel like a normal person. Connor unfortunately had a bug that is going around, and ended up getting sick to his tummy and puking. He is feeling better today which is a blessing. We leave for Texas next month, and I'm starting to freak out that we are not going to feel 100%. Lord willing we will be up and running come Saturday morning. So send a little prayer our way that we are feeling better come next weekend, and hopefully we don't leave giving Ryan our sickness..:-)
